Standard on the Intrepid SE is a 2.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine with 200 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 190 lb-ft of torque at 4,850 rpm. The Intrepid ES offers a new 3.5-liter engine with 232 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 241 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. Finally, the Intrepid SXT has a 3.5-liter HO V6 24-valve engine with 250 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 250 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 rpm.
